Daniel Sammon graduated in 2017 with a Masters in Writing Degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). It was late in life when he discovered that he had a hidden talent or a latent love, for the written word. Not long after his first book was published, he had another four written including a book of poetry.
Apart from writing, he is engaged full-time as a rental property manager. He is also a tour-driver taking couples and small groups on tours all over Connemara, the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, Newgrange and Dublin, as well as other places.
He is keenly interested in Irish history, heritage and folklore and completed a course in Genealogy at NUIG in 2019. His passengers, especially people from America of Irish ancestry, are usually very interested in the geneological services he provides to them free of charge.
These interests, together with meeting people from the four corners of the globe keep him well supplied with material for his writing pen.
